Lectures: The Charlemagne Lecture in 2006 was given on 22 November by Peter Sutherland on 'Europe's Place in the World of the 21st Century', at LSE in cooperation with its European Institute. The Archbishop of Westminster Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor gave the 2007 Corbishley Lecture (30th in the series) on 28th March at Westminster Cathedral Hall on the theme of the Church in public life (copies of both lecture reports  available from the Trust Secretary). The Archbishop of Canterbury gave an interfaith Lecture in memory of Dr Zaki Badawi (former patron of the Trust) at Lambeth Palace on April 26th, at which the Trust was given an allocation of places.
