Lectures: The Charlemagne
Lecture in 2006 was given on 22 November by Peter Sutherland on
'Europe's Place in the World of the 21st Century', at LSE
in cooperation with its European Institute. The Archbishop of
Westminster Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor gave the 2007
Corbishley Lecture (30th in the series) on 28th March at
Westminster Cathedral Hall on the theme of the Church in public
life (copies of both lecture reports available from the
Trust Secretary). The Archbishop of Canterbury gave an
interfaith Lecture in memory of Dr Zaki Badawi (former patron of
the Trust) at Lambeth Palace on April 26th, at which the Trust
was given an allocation of places.
